Basing my work deeply in nature, allows me to bring a sense of place and time informed by emotions and transformed into impressions that unfold through process. Painting is a way for me to simplify my inspirations and strip them down to their essence. It is in this moment of ambiguity that I find excitement and the painting becomes more about emotions through shape, line work and color.
